SPECIAL MEETING

ATTENDANCE: Jody Bishop-Pullan, Chairman; Thomas Vetter; Rosa Murray; Susan Hamilton; David Cole; Marina Rivera; Judith Rivas

STAFF: Dr. Salvatore Corda; Stu Opdahl

I. CALL TO ORDER

The Chairman called the meeting to order at 5:15 pm.

II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

All present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

III. Discussion of employee grievance and Negotiations Update

** MR. VETTER MOVED TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION ** MS. RIVERA SECONDED. ** MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

Tom Vetter leaves 6:10 p.m.

Board comes out of executive session at 6:12 p.m.

IV. Resolved that the Board of Education deny the grievance of Peggie Loris for the reasons set forth in the Superintendent’s letter of April 19, 2004 to the grievant.

** MARINA RIVERA MOVED APPROVAL OF ITEM IV. ** SUSAN HAMILTON SECONDED. ** MOTION PASSED (6-0)

V. ADJOURNMENT (6:15 P.M.) ** DAVID COLE MOVED TO ADJOURN ** ROSA MURRAY SECONDED. ** MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
