III. Actions A. Approval of Resolution to Amend Transportation Contract

Moved that the Board of Education approve a modification to the existing contract with First Student dated December 4, 2002 and amended on November 4, 2005 as follows:

1. Compensation: The charges for all school transportation shall be based on the same rates as those in effect in the 2008/2009 school year.

2. Exhibit A §B.2 shall be deleted and replaced with the following: Vehicles used in this contract in the 2008/2009 school year shall be allowed to remain in service in 2009/2010 even if, from the date of manufacture, they are more than eight (8) years old for Type I buses and seven (7) years old for all other vehicles.

B. Approval of 2009/2010 Budget Reconciliation

Moved that the Board of Education approve the budget reconciliation for the 2009/2010 school year in accordance with the attached document.*

*Reconciliation document to be developed at the Board meeting.
